Abbot's Abode
It has a large dining kitchen with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer. dishwasher, microwave oven etc. at one side and an oak dining table and chairs at the other with a peninsular unit in between. In this split level cottage you go down three steps into the spacious sitting room which has a low beamed ceiling and large window giving views over the garden to the hills beyond. The cosy feel is completed by a cast iron stove and a TV and DVD player. The family bedroom is galleried, with twin beds below and 2 more twin beds on the gallery, accessed by a short ladder. This room has enormous oak trusses, and superb views down to Monks Dale. The double bedroom also has huge beams, a luxury iron bedstead and wonderful views of Millers Dale. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a washbasin and toilet. The garden has plenty of space to sit outside and there is a secluded patio with barbecue and garden furniture by the cottage.
